What have we been doing recently? Some examples :
An Amek Neve System 9098 saved after going up in smoke. A general service and test whilst apart too.
We travel extensively in Scotland to repair Church Organs. Recent instruments have included those by Allen, Norwich, Johannus and J. Wood and Sons.
We service instrument amplifiers for several studios and bands. Marques include Marshall,Fender and Vox amongst others. Here was an AC4 undergoing repairs.
If damaged or just not working, we can source parts from Sennheiser, Shure etc to restore. These units wouldn't power up or had intermittent audio.
We can wire and modify interconnections. This was a normalled bantam bay for Protools ins and outs. A stage box was also wired in. We use and supply Van Damme cabling and Neutrik c...
Vintage Korg and Roland drum units can be fixed up. This vintage Roland CR-8000 had several unresponsive butttons.
Outboards this week - A Vac Rac with metering and noise issues, a Lexicon PCM70 and an AKG BX15 reverb unit.
We perform cost effective microphone repairs, most often on large diaphragm types by e.g. Neumann, SE Electronics and Rode.
This week a superb Audio Developments AD062 requiring all sorts of repairs. We also repair and modify small desks by Cooper, Soundcraft et al.
All repairs including intermittent errors and circuit board repairs where possible to avoid expensive spares. Also simple replacement of link connectors and tactile buttons. Also rejuvenation of older units such as DJM500 / 600.
We can do cost effective repairs on units by Dynacord, Behringer, Yamaha. and older units such as HH Electronic too.
We can repair USB and firewire problems with audio interfaces by Roland, MOTU and Akai etc
Synths in for service and repairs recently include Prophet 5 ( dead voices, PSU service) Juno 60 ( dead, recap) Juno 106 ( general service, setup to factory spec) and others like Korg Polysix, Korg T3, M1 and Roland D50.
We do various Power Amplifiers, including models by Crown, Void, FFA, Chevin, Bryston etc- Generally cleaning out, repairing and testing.
A number of keyboards and synths by Korg - A TR needing a replacement key, a SP170 with key contact issues and a Polysix with backup battery and background noise problems.
Some vintage units for upgrades and repairs including Roland SH101s, 106s, HS60, Linn drum LM-2 and Ensoniq SQ-80.
